Barbie Y. Hee | Hawaii & Las Vegas
I designed and developed an extensive WordPress website for real estate professional Barbie Y. Hee, bringing together property listings, buyer and seller resources, local area information, and educational content. Built with the Avada theme, the project included website customization, substantial property listing work, content organization, SEO, website analytics, photo editing, and client training.
I organized the website around the different needs of buyers, sellers, and people exploring properties in Hawaii and Las Vegas. The navigation connected visitors with buying and selling resources, featured listings, location information, articles, events, and contact options. Dedicated service pages presented information about first-time homeownership, rent-to-own opportunities, new construction, home values, and downsizing, with clear invitations to contact Barbie for guidance.
A substantial part of my work involved creating and populating individual property listing pages. I brought together property descriptions, pricing, addresses, photographs, embedded video tours, and property specifications in consistent layouts. Each page gave prospective buyers several ways to explore a property and request more information.
The archived listing example features One Kalakaua Senior Living in Honolulu. Its layout combined a video tour and photo gallery with an organized property information table, community amenities, floor plans, and links to related properties. Details such as bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, parking, and HOA information were grouped for easier review. This example represents just one portion of the much larger property listing workload completed for the website.
The Hawaii page paired featured properties and community photography with neighborhood information, area market summaries, and local attractions. These sections gave visitors context about the surrounding area as they explored the properties being promoted. Location sections and property-search links also helped visitors navigate between the Hawaii and Las Vegas markets.
I created page layouts for articles, interviews, real estate tips, and video podcasts, organizing educational content into an approachable resource section. Embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos appeared throughout the website, including property tours, interviews, and buyer and seller resources. Related content sections connected these materials with relevant service pages.
The events page brought together consultation links, upcoming event information, a registration form, previous events, and video content. The registration form collected contact details, seminar interests, and consultation preferences, while a newsletter signup offered another way for visitors to stay connected.
I customized the Avada website with black headers, gold accents, light backgrounds, property photography, and agent portraits. Consistent headings, image grids, information panels, and calls to action gave the many pages a unified appearance. Request-information forms and contact buttons provided clear next steps throughout the website.
My work also included search engine optimization and website analytics, supporting the site’s search visibility and the review of visitor activity. Photo editing and careful content presentation helped bring property images, agent information, and educational resources together in a polished, cohesive website.
I provided custom video tutorials to help the client edit website content, add information, and handle routine updates with greater confidence. These walkthroughs supported the practical use of a website containing numerous listings, resource pages, and other content.
The completed project brought property promotion, buyer and seller education, local information, event registration, and inquiry options into one organized website. The screenshots shown here capture only a selection of the pages and listings I worked on. This project demonstrates my experience with substantial real estate website projects and the detailed content work required to support them.
