I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jeannine Bennett, a published Christian author, speaker, and career coach, for over a decade. Our work together has included website design, logo design, newsletter setup, and book cover design—helping her present her message and connect with the people she serves.
For her author website, I created a WordPress website using the Avada theme. The project brought together her personal brand, published books, contact options, and newsletter signup in one welcoming online home. Today, the site also features writing services, book reviews, a blog, and her Your Story Within podcast.
An Author Website Built Around Her Books and Readers
Jeannine’s writing includes Christian Bible studies and career-focused books. Her website gives visitors several ways to explore that work, from a central book showcase to individual pages with descriptions and purchase options.
The design combines her personal logo, soft blue tones, prominent book imagery, and clear navigation. Readers can learn about Jeannine, discover a title that interests them, subscribe for updates, or get in touch. The WordPress and Avada foundation also provides a flexible structure for adding books and content over time.
Book Purchase Popups with Amazon Links
One of the project’s features is the book-format selection popup. Selected Buy Now buttons open a modal where readers can choose an ebook or paperback, then follow the corresponding link to Amazon to complete their purchase.
This gives readers a clear next step from browsing a book to choosing their preferred edition. Amazon handles payment and fulfillment, including ebook delivery and printed-book orders. The site also uses direct Amazon links for selected titles.
Newsletter Signup and a Free Ebook Offer
The original project included a Mailchimp newsletter subscription form with a free product download, giving visitors a reason to subscribe and stay connected with Jeannine’s work.
The current website promotes a free ebook copy of Broken to Beautiful through a BookFunnel signup and delivery page. Newsletter invitations appear in several areas of the site, connecting book discovery with an opportunity to receive future releases and author updates.
A Home for Author Services, Reviews, and Podcast Content
The website now brings together several parts of Jeannine’s author platform:
- Author biography: An introduction to her writing, Christian faith, and career-coaching background.
- Book showcase and individual book pages: Cover imagery, descriptions, and purchase options for her published titles.
- Writing services: Information about author coaching, publishing support, and service packages, with PayPal order links.
- Book reviews and blog content: Dedicated areas for An Author’s Take, Christian book reviews, author news, and other articles.
- Podcast content: A home for Your Story Within episodes and a link to a 17hats guest inquiry form.
- Contact and reader connections: A contact form and links to her Amazon author profile, Goodreads, BookBub, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Together, these features give readers and prospective clients clear ways to explore her work and take the next step.
Logo Design, Book Covers, and Continued Collaboration
My work with Jeannine has also included logo design and book cover design, extending our creative collaboration beyond her website. Bringing these services together supports a recognizable presentation across her online presence and published work.
Our broader collaboration includes her Vision to Purpose coaching website. Working together over the years has given me the opportunity to support different sides of her business as her work has developed.

The website uses WordPress, the Avada theme, Avada Builder, and Avada Forms. Its current technical setup also includes Yoast SEO Premium and Google Analytics through MonsterInsights. Connected services include Amazon book-purchase links, BookFunnel newsletter signup and ebook delivery, PayPal service-order links, and a 17hats podcast guest form. Mailchimp was part of the original newsletter setup.
